Where does the money go?

The profits from products sold on this site are used to support the fundraising efforts of Carolyn Barron Montessori School, a 501c(3) non profit organization and the schools mission of providing a stimulating environment that nurtures a lifetime love of learning.  


What is montessori school? 

The montessori philosophy was explored and developed by Maria Montessori.  It is designed to empower children to develop independence, self-control, self-discovery, and to encourage their desire to learn at their own individual pace.. Are my purchases tax deductible? 

CBMS is a registered 501(c) organization, so your donations are tax deductible. A portion of your product purchases may also be tax deductible. Since we are not accountants, we advise you to contact an accountant for professional tax advise.  


Cash, checks or bank transfer:   You can make your donation by mail, by phone or in person.


Pledges:  Pledges are accepted via email at [email protected] or written on the return enclosure card.   All pledges must be paid in full by June 30th.


Gifts of stock or securities:  Contributing appreciated securities is a great way to support CBMS and receive the dual tax benefit of a charitable deduction.


Bequests:  Remembering CBMS in your will through a charitable bequest reduces the amount of your estate that is subject to estate tax and provides an opportunity for you to create a legacy of support for CBMS without affecting your income or cash flow during your lifetime.

What are the dimensions of the gift bags?

Mini (up to 5x6 inches)

Small (5x6 to 10x14 inches)

Medium (9x15 to 19x22 inches)

Large (20x22 to 28x34 inches)

Jumbo (34x42 inches and up)


How will my items be shipped? 

The carriers that we use for domestic shipping are UPS and USPS. Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed. Most items usually take 7-14 business days to ship within the US, but could arrive sooner depending on your location.  If you have any questions about shipping please feel free to contact us.

To all customers, we do not take responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged packages that are shipped. 

 

What is the return policy?  

All items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. This is a non-profit organization and we sincerely appreciate the donation.


What is the pre-order policy? 

Pre-ordering is a great way to order the pieces you love without worrying about them selling out before you get a chance to get your hands on them.

We handle pre-orders like all other orders. With that being said, we are not able to offer refunds on pre-orders. In the event that you change your mind about your order contact [email protected] to cancel your order in exchange for store credit.

Your items will be shipped to you as they become available, please keep in mind your items may be delivered separately.  

Please note that the delivery date is an estimated shipping date. We are unable to guarantee delivery dates for pre-order items due to the possibility of unforeseen delays.

In the event that we can not fulfill your order because of an inventory or production error, we will contact you immediately and offer you store credit and a discount on your next purchase (both will never expire).


What is the privacy policy? 

We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.
