Montessori Parent Organization
The purpose of the Montessori Parent Organization (MPO) is to enhance the relationship between the school and its families by organizing activities that allow parents to further participate in the life of the school and enhance the community at Carolyn Barron Montessori School (CBMS). These activities take the form of cultural, educational, social, and fundraising events that a leadership team, in conjunction with the whole parent body, initiates, organizes and coordinates.
The MPO serves to bring families together to develop a sense of community among parents and foster communication among the parents, faculty, and staff of CBMS. The MPO also sponsors special programs and projects that promote the school’s mission.
